U.S. stock-index futures were little changed after the benchmark Standard & Poor’s 500 Index closed at a record yesterday.
Oracle Corp. (ORCL) slid 5.9 percent in early New York trading after reporting fourth-quarter profit and sales that fell short of analysts’ estimates. Sonic Automotive (SAH) Inc. slipped 1.7 percent after Goldman Sachs Group Inc. downgraded the shares.
Futures on the S&P 500 expiring in September climbed less than 0.1 percent to 1,950.5 at 7:38 a.m. in New York. Dow Jones Industrial Average contracts added 1 point, or less than 0.1 percent, to 16,834 today.
